PEAK MUSIC 2002 - The times they are a changing II

 

This is a series that will attempt to Sport(ify) music by creating a 5 member All-Pro/All League/All Star team (Sort of like the NBA first team all-stars) for each year in Music starting with 1964. It will rely heavily on Top 20 Hits from the year but also take into account Concert Tours, Music awards, Music Videos (MTV Crowd-You Tube), TV, Films, Pop Culture etc….. 

 

2002

 In June of 2001 National Record Mart declared bankruptcy by early 2022 they closed their last store.

ASHANTI – 5 top 20 hits including smash hit WHATS LOVE GOT TO DO WITH IT

Ja Rule -3 top 20 hits (see above)

Nelly – 4 top 5 hits including HOT IN HERE

Eminem – 3 top 4 hits including LOSE YOURSELF

Jennifer Lopez – 4 top 10 hits including JENNY FROM THE BLOCK video starring Ben Affleck. When Lopez was married to Mark Anthony he prohibited VH1 from playing that video.
