About once a month Wrigley Wax (check it out) presents the average price of Topps sets (1969-present) sold on ebay. I have decided to compare that with what price guides have listed the sets for over the years. First up 1973 Topps Set. (listed by year, source, price)

The numbers are interesting. The 1973 set had been listed at $170.00 more than it is selling for 22 years later. Wow.
