My Name is Earl
What is the name of the word for when you discover a TV show that is already off the air. For about the last 2 months I have been watching on TBS a show called my name is Earl. I checked IMDB and found out that it was on TV from 2006 to 2010. I had heard of it but never watch it. It just seemed like it would not interest me but now because of limited channels I caught one episode about 2 months ago and have been watching reruns on Saturday. It is very very funny, it causes me to laugh out loud. It stars Jason Lee who I never heard of (but realized he was in the Chipmunk moives) and Jaimee Pressley who I had seen naked in Playboy but had no idea what she was famous for. Don't know anybody elses name. It seems kind of sad to me that the series is already over. It is the first comedy I have been watching since Seinfeld (though I can not watch any reruns of Seinfeld, it just does appeal to me anymore). Here is Jaimee who is hotter than a firecracker on the 4th of July.

It was a great show for about 2.5 seasons. I'm afraid it fell off the map in quality after that. It was very shocking actually - how poor the writing suddenly got. I think they surely had a mass exodus of the writers around that time.
ReplyDeleteStill, solid can't-miss show for that window of time.
Hottest woman on the planet. But I could never get into the show. It's on Netflix now and I'm trying to watch it. Not getting very far.
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me of a night I spent in the emergency room, because it was playing in the waiting room. Maybe that's why I can't get into it.
Jason Lee is also on a TNT program in the summertime called Memphis Beat, which is a great show. I watched a few episodes of Earl but couldn't get involved in it for some reason.
