Jim Essian
A play at the plate. Yes, that is what it looks like will happen in the next few seconds after this photo was taken. I looks like Jim has the ball in his hands and and the runner is coming down the third base line. A classic catcher shot.
This card was in the first pack I ever got! This whole series (and website) is taking me WAAAAY back. Thanks for posting. I remember Joel Youngblood, Pat Putnam Alex Trevino and Pete Falcone were also in that pack.
